Oftentimes, bathtubs and sink drains are clogged because of hair. One trick is to use the metal end of a coat hanger and scoop inside the drain to remove hair blockage. Afterwards, flush with warm water and disinfectant.
It could be you have a smaller tank or a lot of debris at the bottom of your tank could be causing you to run out of water.

These Guys were so great. I had an emergency situation and they were on it right away and were friendly and didnt make me feel bad that I had tried to fix it myself and made things worst lol!
